Body Fat Measurement

Get a precise analysis of your body composition.

A body scale only provides information about your total weight. However, you can only lose weight in a healthy and lasting way if you reduce fat while maintaining your muscle mass. A precise analysis of your body composition can help you achieve this.

Our body fat analysis is based on the principle of bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA), which is one of the most accurate methods for determining body composition. Compared to other methods such as skinfold thickness measurement or BMI calculation, it provides more accurate and meaningful results.

Bioelectrical impedance analysis uses the resistance that the body opposes to a weak electric current. This resistance allows for the calculation of the body's composition.

The values we determine include:
  • Body weight with Body Mass Index (BMI)
  • Body fat percentage (%)
  • Total body water percentage (%)
  • Muscle mass (kg)
  • Bone mass (kg)
  • Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR): The amount of energy (in the form of calories) that your body needs to function in a resting state. This is the number of calories (kcal) you need to maintain basic functions such as breathing, blood circulation, and organ function while not performing any physical activities.
  • Biological metabolic age
  • Visceral fat

With these values, targeted nutrition and training plans can be developed to optimize your health and fitness.
