We are looking for: Medical Assistant
The Health Centre Schirmerstrasse is a general and internal medicine practice and a teaching practice of the University of Düsseldorf, located in the center of Düsseldorf. As we continue to grow and experience increasing patient numbers while still aiming to provide high quality service, we are looking for dedicated and motivated full-time or part-time Medical Assistants / MFA (m/f/d) – we welcome career re-entrants or newcomers to the field.
Your responsibilities
- Administrative patient registration and support in medical admission
- Scheduling appointments in collaboration with the medical doctors
- Organization of patient-oriented, smooth processes within the scope of patient services
- Execution of medical diagnostics in collaboration with the practice's medical doctors (ECG, lung function)
- Key role as the first point of contact within the practice for new and existing patients
Your profile
- Successfully completed training as a medical assistant or medical office assistant (MFA)
- Committed, professionally competent, and patient-oriented personality
- Professional and empathetic interaction with patients and relatives
- Interdisciplinary thinking and acting, enjoyment of working with people
- Enjoyment of working in a team
- Prior experience in a general medical practice is desirable
- Good PC skills and experience with practice IT/management systems
- A high degree of appreciation and an organized way of working
